While in Nairobi, he shared his vast knowledge on all things Tullamore D.E.W Irish Whiskey with bartenders, influencers and consumers, through a bartender training, intimate “supper club” and Meet and Greet party.
Mr. Quinn has gained a stature of being one of the most knowledgeable people in the industry with a career in whiskey spanning over 40 years, making him one of the longest standing whiskey brand ambassadors. He won Whiskey Brand Ambassador of the year at Whiskey Magazine’s Icons of Whisky awards in 2016. He has been named among world’s Top 10 Most Influential People in Irish whiskey. Mr Quinn was brand ambassador long before the age of social media, making him one of the few renowned ambassadors whose career has spanned across different eras. When it comes to whiskey, from grain to glass, the man is a traveling storehouse of knowledge and he’s ready to share it with all whiskey lovers in Kenya.
