The Commission vice chair Irene Wanyoike says politicians must stop early campaigns and implement election pledges.

Wanyoike says the five years mandate bestowed to the politicians is meant for development.

She says electorates will lose out in every election cycle if politicians continue campaigning at the expense of developing development.

Speaking to the press in Kisumu when she opened a youth forum on peace, Wanyoike says Kenyans wants conducive environment that can spur growth of the economy.

She told politicians to lead in the healing of the nation and drop the 2022 election campaigns.

Wanyoike says President Uhuru Kenyatta and Raila Odinga have led by example setting stage for a peaceful country.

She says that early campaigns will take the country backwards and will not achieve the Big Four Agenda as set by President Kenyatta.
