President hints on referendum


Kenyatta says the country must put in order laws that will ensure the country does not go back to chaos in any political contest.

He says citizens will have the opportunity to have discussions on issues affecting the country and also coming up with solutions.

Speaking in Kisumu during the launch of Universal Health Coverage, Kenyatta says Kenyans must find solutions themselves to some of the sticking issues bringing animosity in the country.

He says that the past political contests has centered on tribalism, hatred, bloodshed and other ills.

Kenyatta says that Kenyans must find home grown solutions to the problems bedeviling the country.

The head of state says issues on electoral system must be looked into to avert loss of lives during electioneering period.
