Peugeot Group on Saturday signed a contract with the government to begin assembling Peugeot vehicles in Kenya.
 The signing of the contract was witnessed by President Uhuru Kenyatta at State House, Nairobi.
 According to the President, last year manufacturing output grew 3.5%, signalling the revival of Kenyan industry, and the return to regional dominance.
 From Wrigley, which will invest Sh 5.8 billion in a plant in Machakos, to the Volkswagen plant which opened in Thika last year, to the Pan-Paper plant which the Jubilee revived later last year.
