Kisumu County Governor Prof Anyang Nyong’o has proposed the halting of training s and seminars in Kisumu until after the election as a way of curbing IDs buying.

Nyong’o says that such meetings breed bad mind for ID buying and should be stop for a while.

However, he says for mandatory meetings then local ODM party officials must be notified to send representatives to discard perceptions on ID buying.

The Governor apologized to the women who were attacked after they were accused of engaging in ID buying.

Addressing a press conference in Kisumu after chairing a county ODM’ meeting to strategize on NASA campaigns, Nyongo says the matter is under investigations.

The meeting resolved that every elected leader must now take the campaigns to the grassroots level to marshal more votes for Raila Odinga.

Nyong’o says there are over 6,000 uncollected IDs at Huduma centre which leaders must now come out to locate their owners.
