Nyatike Member of Parliament Hon.Edick Omondi Anyanga blames a section of senior ODM party officials for his woes over party nominations ticket.
The Member of Parliament who is eying for the party ticket to seek for fresh mandate from the voters comes 8th August 2017 said he will fight for the party ODM ticket to the end expressing confidence that he will retain the ticket.
The legislator who is yet to know his fate after his ticket was revoked despite having been cleared by the IEBC said there are a section of ODM party top officials who are fighting him politically and are interested in him seeing him failing in his endeavors to defend his seat.
Hon.Anyanga has accused ODM party over the endless war between him and other aspirants in the corridor of justice claiming that the party has its own preferred candidate which is not the will of the people of Nyatike.
He said ODM party ought to have told him and any other aspirants who lost unfairly in the nominations not to pay for the nomination fees in case it’s true that the party has been having their preferred candidates for some political seats.
Hon.Anyanga said it’s disheartening and costly to be dragged before the court of justice several times because of a matter that ought to have been completed long enough.
The legislator however said that he is going to fight for the certificate to the end expressing confidence that he is going to be the ODM party candidate for the Nyatike parliamentary seat.
The Nyatike incumbent Member of Parliament has called on the people of Nyatike to maintain peace as they wait for the court verdict in near future.
