The newly promoted Kisumu All Stars to Kenya Premier League are ready to surmount any challenge as they strive to shine further.
The team captain Samuel Onyango said through hard work and discipline among players was the hallmark of their success.
Onyango said the team was impressed with their performance and looking forward to do better in the league.
Speaking during a luncheon organized for the team in Kisumu by the county woman representative Rosa Buyu, Onyango assured their fan base in Kisumu that they would continue to post exemplary results.
The team captain Andrew Aroka said the support they received was tremendous.
Aroka said the win for Kisumu All Stars was a combination of many factors.
He thanked Rosa Buyu for the gesture and called for more support from the county residents.
Buyu on her part noted that it was her task to welcome back home the boys after a hard work that earned the promotion.
She said her office through the National Government Affirmative Action Fund (NGAAF) was in the forefront to nurture talents in football.
Buyu noted that Kisumu All Stars would be able to get fresh and energetic players from such initiatives of NGAAF conducting talent searches.
