KCB RFC will clash with Kabras RFC at the ASK Showground in Kakamega on saturday. the two titans with great quality between them will eye Kenya Cup Finals winners medal and the Sh. 1m million cash prize from the Kenya Rugby Union.
KCB RFC team manager Philip Wamae says the slightest margin will determine the outcome of the kenya cup finals. the Bankers whitewashed Kenya Harlequins 46-13 over the weekend to reach their third consecutive finals in a row while Kabras RFC beat Stanbic Mwamba 23-11 to book a spot in this years final.
According to the former KCB flanker Wamae, the team that will make minimal mistake will carry the day. “its going to be a tough encounter we belive so but you know everyone has prepared well mentally and its going to be decided by the one who makes the minimal mistake will win the trophy. Since its our last game of the season, we are going to give it our best and we hope that all our system will come in place and retain the cup.”
Curtis Olago charges will be seekling for their seventh title in the Kenya Cup history and their third in a row after achiving same fate in 2005,2006,2007.
Western Bulls will also crush with Kisumu RFC at the same venue in the KRU Championship finals.
