Kisumu County Jubilee party have castigated the rowdy youths who attended President Uhuru Kenyatta and Deputy President William Ruto in Kisumu yesterday.
The party acting chairman Zuberi Liete says actions by the youth during the ground breaking of Sh. 1 billion brewery plant was unjustified.
Liete accused some politicians of using the youth to cause commotion at the expense of development that can uplift the living standards of jobless youths.
He says leaders devoid of political stand should embrace development and shun political hooliganism.
Addressing a press conference in Kisumu, Liete says the people of Nyanza should appreciate developments that were initiated during the President’s visit in the region.
He lauded President Kenyatta for taking a bold step to tour the region and initiate developments that were neglected by the successive governments.
Liete says locals will benefit immensely from the ambitious programmes initiated by Jubilee government.
