Huma girls secondary school in Kisumu West sub county has been closed indefinitely.

Kisumu West sub county Education Officer Albert Langat says there was tension among the girls thus forcing them to shut the school.
Langat says the girls sounded rude when talked to by teachers and officials today adding that it was a clear sign of lurking danger.
Langat says they made the move to avoid any chaotic scene at the school.
He says the girls also mentioned closure of Chulaimbo their neighbouring school and demanded to go home too.
Langat says they are also monitoring closely Obambo mixed day and boarding secondary school which is also experiencing tension among students.
