A tile installer wins sh one million Guinness grand prize and a trip to Cairo with two friends.
Guinness, the country’s leading stout by Kenya Breweries Limited (KBL) has awarded the second one million winner in the ongoing ‘Win aTrip to Cairo’ national consumer promotion.David Otieno, a tiles installer who resides in Shauri Moyo Estate in Eldoret was awarded at an event hosted at Belasco Lounge in Eldoret.
“The award has really changed my life and did not expect to win such a huge amount of cash. I was catching up with friends over a game of football when I ordered a 500ML Guinness.After a few weeks, I received a call from Kenya Breweries Limited (KBL) informing me that am the winner of One Million Kenya Shillings plus a trip to Cairo with two of my friends.Am very excited about the win,” Said David.
He added, “My plan is to reward my wife and friend who have always been there for me. In addition, I will now open a business venture of my own.”
Speaking during the handover event, Kenya Breweries Limited Marketing Manager -Guinness, Ms. Nduku Wamakau said; “Guinness seeks to always engage with our loyal consumers and reward them fully as they celebrate their passion for football together with their friends.”
Two grand prize winners are remaining to be awarded in the promotion. The promotion,was launched on 8th April 2019 and will be running for 12 weeks till 30th June 2019. Over 87,000 Kenyan consumers will be rewarded with over Kshs. 40 million worth of cash and prizes during the period of the campaign.Consumers can take part in the promotion by purchasing a 500ML bottle of Guinness and sending the code under the crown to 29759. They can also participate by purchasing Guinness six-pack cans and scratching the panel to reveal a code which they will send to 29759.
