Fighting corruption

President Kenyatta reiterated that his government will fight graft without any favour.

He says no individual or community is being targeted in the fight against corruption.

The head of state says his administration will not spare anyone found to have looted public resources.

Speaking during the launch of the pilot program on Universal Health Coverage at the Kisumu Mamboleo Show Ground, Kenyatta called upon Kenyans to help in the fight against graft.

Former Prime Minister Raila Odinga echoed the same sentiments noting that corruption will kill the economy if not tackled.

Odinga says fighting corruption is not communal but only targets individuals.

He says that those looting public coffers must be ready to carry their own cross when caught.

Former Vice President Kalonzo Muyoka also took the same path noting that the country will get respect from across the globe in the fight against graft.

Kalonzo says regardless of one’s status in the country, nobody should be pardoned.
