Efforts are under way in Kisumu to forcefully evacuate an activist Boniface Ogutu Akach who has been on a hunger strike for seven days over Miguna Miguna deportation.
Civil society activists are already at the Kondele flyover where the activist has been camping without food.
The forceful evacuation is as a result that the activist has declined to leave the place promising to press further.
Ogutu says he will soldier on with his plan to compel the government to come out and condemn those going against court orders.
He says that he will not relent in his pursuit for a just society.
Speaking to the press in Kisumu as civil society activists make preparations for a prayer and for his eventual removal to seek medical attention, Ogutu says he will not abandon his course prematurely.
He denied reports that he had agreed to leave today as he start day seven of his hunger strike.
Ogutu says he is ready to die for his action and will not call off the strike until he is heard.
There are fears among the civil society activists that the health of Ogutu is deteriorating and he must find an exit strategy.
