A FAMILY IN ORUBA SUNA WEST IN AGONY AFTER THEIR TWO CHILDREN WENT MISSING

A family in Oruba Village Suna West Sub County Migori is living in fear after their two sons went missing yesterday in Migori town.

According to Mr.Kennedy Ochola Odera said that the two whose names has been established as Barack Anan Odera aged 8 years old and Alex Chembalin Odera aged 5 years went Missing after they followed their mother to the market saying up to now they have not been seen calling upon the residents to come out and assist them in knowing the whereabouts of the children.

While speaking to press in Migori today Mr.Odera said that despite making a report to Oruba police station and several attempts to trace the whereabouts of the two children who are also learning at Rongo Primary school in Rongo Sub County they have not managed to find them fearing that there lives might have been in danger urging the anybody who might have a clue to call on their number or make a report to any police station or any government office closer to them.

This however comes as cases of missing children in Migori town especially in Suna west have been on the increase with just a week after a middle aged woman was last week in Oruba village was rescued by police  from the hands of the residents who wanted to lynch her after being accused of stealing children in the area.

Migori county police commander Joseph Nthenge while speaking to Dala fm said they have received such a report and they have commenced as investigation into the matter calling upon the residents especially the parents and guardians to be cautious in ensuring that they monitor the movement of their children now that they are holidays to avert such increasing cases of missing children in the region.
